Device for fixing components on a chassis

The device (1) has a fastening unit provided with a receiver (7) that includes a cross sectional profile. The receiver extends from an inner side (8) of a vehicle frame (2) to another inner side (9) of the vehicle frame and forms an opening for receiving the fastening unit. The vehicle frame includes a closed cross section profile (5), where the receiver and vehicle frame are manufactured from various materials. The receiver and vehicle frame are water and/or gas tightly connected with each other by a pressing, welding or adhesive bonding unit.
