Switch assembly for operating a light emitting diode

The device (10) has a data bus that is connected to the communication units (12,14), for receiving the control signals of data bus. The communication unit is connected with a control device (16). A thermal temperature sensor is coupled with the LED's. The switching circuits operate the LED's (LED1,LED2), by providing the operating current to control a switching regulator (20). The control unit drives the switching circuit, based on the received control signals of data bus.
