The data relate to a position and/or movement of an object e.g. pedestrians, motor vehicles (2-4), tree (8) and house (9), and lane marks e.g. central dividing strip (10) and left and right road curbs (11, 12). The sensors are designed as a camera (S1), environment sensors (S2-S4) and a global positioning system (GPS) sensor (GPS). An independent claim is also included for a device for determining a plausible lane for a vehicle, comprising a computing unit.",
