The invention provides an LED lighting system capable of consolidating the power supplies for LED, saving power via interior lighting control and facilitating maintenance of the power supplies. The present system further enables lighting control of the trainset and the individual lighting control of respective cars in response to changes of outside environment and when passing through a tunnel, and reducing the influence of radiation noise that may affect the LED lighting. The present invention provides a railway car equipped with an LED lighting system comprising a first power supply for supplying power to the LED lighting device disposed in an interior of the railway car, a trainset control unit for detecting a tunnel information and transmitting the tunnel information to the first power supply, and an illuminance sensor for monitoring an illuminance in the interior of the railway car, characterized in that the first power supply has connected thereto a plurality of LED lighting devices connected in series, the illuminance sensor and the trainset control unit.
