"textContent": "Systems and methods for mitigating vehicle battery drain are provided. Once a vehicle determines it is no longer in use (for example, after a key-off event of the vehicle), the vehicle may monitor the state of charge (SoC) of the battery that is used to power the various electronic control units (ECUs) of the vehicle (and/or other components of the vehicle that require an electrical power source to operate). The vehicle may take action in multiple phases depending on the current SoC of the battery and/or the rate of change of the SoC. A first phase is triggered if the SoC does not satisfy a first threshold SoC and/or the rate of change of the SoC is greater than or greater than or equal to a threshold rate of change. A second phase is triggered if the SoC falls even further and does not satisfy a second threshold SoC that is lower than the first threshold SoC.",
