Waste gas guidance device for a combustion engine
DRIVE
April 25, 2012
The device has an exhaust manifold (2) with a housing (7) comprising exhaust gas passages (12). Multiple exhaust gas inlets (4, 6) are fluidically connected with the passages of a cylinder head or a crank case and with exhaust gas outlets (14, 62). An exhaust gas recirculation valve (30) is located directly on the manifold. A coolant channel (48) is formed in the housing. A heat exchanger is formed in the housing such that the flow of the valve is controlled, where the outlets are respectively arranged upstream and downstream of the heat exchanger.
