The assembly comprises a mirror support bracket (44,46,48a) for supporting a rear-view mirror in a position which at least partly resides within a swept volume of the door. The support bracket is pivotally mounted to the cab and a rod (56) is connected between the support bracket and the door. The mirror pivots upwardly to a position outside said swept volume as the door is opened, effectively 'leapfrogging' the door.",
