The electrolyte also includes a lithium salt, wherein the lithium salt is present in the non-aqueous organic solvent in the range of 1 M to 4 M. The electrolyte further includes a borate based additive, wherein the borate based additive, wherein the borate based additive is present in the range of 0.25 percent by weight to 5 percent by weight of the total weight of the electrolyte.",
