SOLAR GAS TURBINE AND SOLAR GAS TURBINE POWER GENERATING DEVICE

DRIVE April 11, 2012
Source
Provided is a solar gas turbine in which the capacitance of a start-up driving source used for compensating the shortage of a solar heat quantity at the startup/speed-rising time is reduced, thereby enabling efficient operation. The solar gas turbine comprises: a compressor (1) for taking in air and increasing the pressure thereof; a heat receiver (2) for heating the high-pressure air, the pressure of which has been increased by the compressor (1), by the heat of sunlight collected by a collector and increasing temperature; and a turbine (3) for converting thermal energy possessed by the high-temperature and high-pressure air to mechanical energy. In the solar gas turbine (GT1) including the compressor (1) equipped with a startup driving source for startup/speed-rising, the fluid flow in the heat receiver (2) is shut off and heat is accumulated in the period from the shutdown of the turbine (3) to the startup thereof.
