The pack has a battery module (100) comprising a housing (105) for accommodating a set of battery cells (160). The module comprises a battery management device (110) that is provided for controlling and/or monitoring the battery cells in the housing. The module comprises a cover for closing the housing. A charge level indicator is arranged at and/or in the cover of the housing. The management device is arranged in and/or at the cover, such that the management device is arranged in the housing when the cover is closed and released from the housing when the cover is opened.
