In one example implementation, the systems and methods disclosed herein monitor acceleration information over time based on information received from an accelerometer integrated in a battery cell and electrical information for at least one electrical parameter of the battery cell over time. The information is stored for determining remaining useful life. In another example implementation, the systems and methods disclosed herein determine a voltage drop across the battery cell and a current output of the battery cell. The systems and methods determine an internal cell resistance of the battery cell based on charge or discharge voltage and current information.",
