Navigation system and corresponding method for voice input of destination address

A navigation system comprises a processing arrangement that is configured to receive a user voice-input destination address, obtain a current vehicle location and find one or more matches to the user voice-input destination address. The finding of the one or more matches includes reducing a number of possible matches based on the obtained current vehicle location, one of the matches being selected as a destination address, wherein navigation information is calculated and output for navigation to the destination address.
