Method for temperature measurement in a vehicle

The electrically heatable plastic tube portion (1) has electrical resistor heating guards (3) which are electrically connected at a junction (4) in conductive state. Two wires (2) are provided at the wall of tube in a state extending helically and twisted together. The heating guard consists of different materials such as plastics, resulting in formation of thermocouple for measuring temperature at the junction.
