DRIVE
March 28, 2012
The oil supply system (10) has oil tank (12), pumps (14,18,20,22), heat exchanger (40) for cooling the oil and conduit system connecting these components. The oil tank has two horizontally stacked upper and lower regions (36,38) for storing the oil, which are separated by partition (34). The conduit system comprises a recirculation line (37), in which heat exchanger and circulating pump (39) are provided. The stacked regions are interconnected by fluid, such that oil is conveyed from upper region (38) of oil tank into lower region (36) through circulation pump.
