Wind energy system

The power plant has a rotor, with at least one rotor blade (406), coupled directly or indirectly to an electrical generator and an electrical system with different system units (400) incorporating electronic, electrical, electromagnetic and/or sensor components and/or protection devices. All components of a system unit are combined in one or more function modules (410), at least one of which has a parallel function module (410'), providing the same function for redundant operation ensuring continuous the power generation.
