Actuator device with emergency stop function

The actuator device (2) has an actuation element (6), which is shifted between an impinging position and a releasing position, and an emergency device (10). The emergency device is adjustably placed at the actuator device between an active position and a passive position. The emergency device generates an initial tensioning at the actuating element in the active position. A shifting of the foot pedal into the passive position is prevented by the emergency device.
