Arrangement for laying out a covering over a container

The invention relates to an arrangement for laying out a covering (110) over a container (190), the arrangement comprising an elongated rotatable holding unit (112) connectable to the container for holding the covering in rolled-up position and a first driving unit (214) connectable to the covering for laying out the covering over the container. By keeping the covering (110) on a holding unit in a rolled up position and laying it out from a rolled up position, the risk of elements of the covering significantly sticking out from the container or a lorry carrying the container is significantly reduced. Furthermore, by employing a driving unit (214) laying out the covering, there is at least less need to climb on top of the container a potential load carried by the container to lay out the covering manually.
