A valve (1) for regulating the flow of a gas in an internal combustion engine; the valve (1) has: a valve body (2); a tubular supply conduit (4) defined in the valve body (2) for the flow of the gas; a shutter (5) arranged inside the supply conduit (4); an actuator (3) which moves the shutter (5); a transmission (7) which mechanically connects the actuator (3) to the shutter (5); a kinematic chamber (9) which is obtained in the valve body (2) and accommodates the actuator (3) and the transmission (7); a lid (10) which closes the kinematic chamber (9); a compensation conduit (11) which puts the kinematic chamber (9) in communication with the external environment; and a compensation valve (12) which is breathable and water repellent and is arranged along the compensation conduit (11) to always make the pressure inside the kinematic chamber (9) equal to the pressure of the external environment while preventing the entry of water from the external environment into the kinematic chamber (9).
