A terminal separator (84) is arranged adjacent to the electrolyte/electrode assembly (26), while a load relaxation member (86) is arranged adjacent to the separator (28). The terminal separator (84) controls the supply of a fuel gas to a fuel gas channel (40), and the load relaxation member (86) is configured of a laminate of a plurality of flat metal plates (86a).",
