Cyclone separator with horizontal cyclone axis

The separator (1) has an inlet (2) for a mixture of air and aerosol, and a cyclone (4) provided with a horizontal axis. A collecting main part (7) is formed as a basin and arranged in a chamber below a terminal edge (6) of a bottom wall of the cyclone. The main part has a small depression in a side wall (8) of the separator, and an aperture (9) is directed into a vertical downward directed dissipation tube. The tube has a non-return valve in an end, where the valve is opened when hydraulic pressure in a water column in the tube exceeds low pressure in the separator.
