Battery module

According to the present invention there is provided a battery module comprising a plurality of batteries and plates alternately stacked together. Each plate comprises a plate body and on at least one edge of the plate body a support protrusion extending from the edge. At least one connection member extends in longitudinal direction along a side of the battery module. Each connection member has a plurality of coupling portions through which the support protrusions being arranged at the same side of battery module extend.
