The glow plug (1) has a built-in sensor and a pressure sensor integrated in a housing (2) in an electrical manner. The housing is made of an insulating material. The housing has an extending guide projection (6) for the electrically insulating material. The guide projection is arranged centrally in the longitudinal axis of the housing. The glow plug is designed as a plastic injection molded part.
