The invention relates to an ignition key device (1) intended for a vehicle's engine starting function and for wireless control of one or more other functions in the vehicle, comprising an electronic ignition key function with immobiliser, and a remote control function. The invention is achieved by the ignition key device (1) being arranged to be physically/mechanically divisible into at least an ignition key element (2) and a remote control element (3).
