A secondary battery comprising: a battery cell including an electrode assembly; a protection circuit module; a temperature sensitive device electrically connected between the battery cell and the PCM; and a lead plate; wherein the lead plate is electrically connected to the PCM and is physically connected to both the temperature sensitive device and an electrode of the battery cell.
