In a brake control apparatus 20, an isolation valve 60 is provided in a main flow channel 45 that brings a first hydraulic pressure circuit and a second hydraulic pressure circuit into communication with each other. When a problem detection unit detects a problem related to brake fluid pressure, a control unit brings the isolation valve 60 into a closed state. A leakage prevention unit performs a leakage prevention process for preventing the brake fluid in the first hydraulic pressure circuit from flowing into the second hydraulic pressure circuit after the isolation valve 60 is brought into the closed state. The leakage prevention unit performs the leakage prevention process by bringing a master cut valve 64 into a closed state.
