Seal and external rear view mirror assembly

The seal (10) has a sealing pad (11) and an integral sealing sleeve (12) that is formed at the sealing pad. The sealing pad covers a portion of body-laterally fitting surface of a mirror base of an exterior rearview mirror assembly. The sealing sleeve is provided for sealing a body-side passage opening.
