Decoupling element with sealing function

The element (1) has an annular metallic cushion (5) provided coaxial to a guide borehole (3) and a fuel injector (2), where the cushion is arranged between two shell and annular shaped housing portions (6, 7). An annular seal (11) is arranged coaxial to the guide borehole and symmetrical to the housing portions at outer diameters (8, 9) of the housing portions. The housing portions are arranged symmetrical to the cushion, and the seal is made of elastomer or plastic. The housing portions are made of metallic sheet or plastic.
