The vehicle pneumatic tire comprises a shoulder block row (1), which is limited in the ground contact width through a peripheral groove (2) in axial direction from tread block elements (4) arranged in series in peripheral direction and distanced from each other by a longitudinal rib (5). The tread block elements extend in axial direction of the vehicle pneumatic tire cropping out from the peripheral groove till a position above the ground contact width and end there.
