Method for producing a container for operating fluids of vehicles and container for same

The method involves applying an adhesive bead, a sealing material and a sealing ring on an inner side of a cylindrical casing (2) or on an outer circumference of splash and separation walls (5, 7). The walls are inserted in the casing in an axial direction by taperedly pushing the adhesive bead before the walls and subsequently drying the adhesive bead. An edge section of the walls is beaded before insertion in a radial direction for forming a circular undercut between the edge section and the casing. A beading with an opening is formed. An independent claim is also included for a container including a cylindrical casing.
