The system synchronizes rising flank of output voltage of one switching device with descending flank of output voltage of another switching device and regulates performance of the elements in a specific number of discrete stages. The system provides specific percentage values of the elements and changes the stages temporarily such that desired percentage performance is supplied to the elements in a temporal way. The switching devices are MOSFET switches or an insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT). An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling power consumption to a common energy supply network.",
