The unit (1) has a carrier part (4) and an engine part (5) connected with a vehicle holder (2) and an engine unit (3), respectively. The engine part is adjustable between a normal position and a crash position for shifting the engine unit in case of a bonnet impact of a person in relation to the carrier part. The engine part and the carrier part are connected with one another in a turning-articulated manner. The engine part is adjustable and/or rotatable in relation to the carrier part. The engine part comprises a linear guide, where the carrier part is adjustably arranged in the carrier part.
