Providing a control device that controls the air fuel ratio of a premix combustion engine with enhanced accuracy, so as to achieve an appropriate fuel air ratio. A control device of a premix combustion engine (1), the device comprising: a hybrid turbocharger including a turbocharger (2) having a compressor and a turbine, the hybrid turbocharger having a motor generator (4) coupled with the compressor; a hybrid turbocharger having a turbocharger (2) and a motor generator (4); the premix combustion engine (1); a generator (5); a control unit (7) for controlling the motor generator (4) based on the operating conditions regarding the generator (5) or the premix combustion engine (1), wherein the control device of a premix combustion engine includes, but not limited to: a necessary airflow rate computing unit B1 for computing the necessary airflow rate required for the premix combustion engine (1), and an arithmetic unit (70) for computing the power output or the rotation speed regarding the hybrid turbocharger so that the necessary airflow rate required for the premix combustion engine (1) is obtained, the necessary airflow rate being computed based on the necessary airflow rate computing unit, and wherein the feedback control regarding the power output or the rotation speed as to the hybrid turbocharger is performed based on the computed results obtained by the arithmetic unit.
