Motor vehicle suspension arm

The steering wheel has bearing portions that are coupled to a base structure. The planar bottom portion and bent side leg (4) are comprised in the base structure. An arc-shaped recess (11) is formed between the bearing portions and side leg, and orthogonally extended with respect to longitudinal axis of vehicle. The surrounding edge area (R) of the recess is partially heat-treated. The radius of the recess is set in the range of 1-30 mm.
