The device (5) has a clamp (10) comprising transversal fixation portions for fixing the clamp on a cylinder head (2), where the clamp is made of folded or pressed sheet metal. A protection chute (14) made of folded sheet metal is arranged between the cylinder head and a throttle housing (4). The protection chute receives a fuel supply line (6) and protects the fuel supply line in case of shock tending to decrease a gap (D) between the cylinder head and the throttle housing. A gripping portion (11) is formed in the clamp. An independent claim is also included for an internal combustion engine comprising an engine block.
