Device for connecting function elements with a supply source

The device has lines extending between functional elements and a supply source, and arranged in a guide chain (16). The chain comprises mechanically stable chain links that are movably connected with each other. Ends of the chain are attached to a sliding door and a body of a motor vehicle, respectively. An elbow (19) is provided along an extension of the chain in an area of a connection point (14), where an end of the elbow raises the chain to a level that is above an upper edge of a carriage. Another end of the elbow is arranged below a bottom edge of the carriage.
