Roof awning for covers on HGV or HGV trailers

The awning (4) has an air filler connector unit provided in a chamber (6) of a blowing body. The blowing body is inflated into a laterally external easily curved inflated form by an air filling mechanism over the air filler connector unit. The chamber comprises a laterally formed opening. The air filler connector unit is formed as an air drain unit or a connection element for a pneumatic hose. A piping attachment is provided at an end region of the awning, where the awning is attached to a lorry or a lorry trailer by the attachment.
