  "textContent": "The invention relates to a high temperature rechargeable electrochemical energy storage cell (1) comprising a cell case (2) which accommodates: a. an anode arrangement (10) containing a molten alkali metal anode (11); b. a cathode unit (20) containing at the operating temperature of the energy storage cell and when the energy storage cell is at least partially in a charged state: a cathode (22) which is electronically conductible; a cathode current collector (21) being electrically connected to the cathode (22); a separator separating (23) the anode (11) from the cathode (22), the separator (23) being a solid electrolyte and comprising a solid conductor of the ions of the alkali metal of the anode (11) or being a micro-molecular sieve which contains said alkali metal adsorbed therein, and the separator (23) being non-conductive for electrons. The invention is characterized in that at least two cathode units (20) are assembled within the energy storage cell case (2), and the at least two cathode units (20) are in electrochemical contact with a shared molten anode (11) of the anode arrangement (10) via the separator (23).",
