"textContent": "The invention relates to a turboshaft engine comprising a heat converter in combination with at least one catalytic converter. A first heat exchanger (133) is adapted to decrease the temperature to the operating temperature of the at least one catalytic converter (141,142). The catalysts may reduce carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons by oxidation and nitrogen oxides by selective catalytic reduction. Furthermore a second heat exchanger (134) is provided in order to transfer the heat extracted from the hot exhaust gas by the first heat exchanger (133) to the entrance of the combustion section (120). This heating of the compressed air just before the combustion improves the combustion efficiency of the engine thus carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced. Finally the exhaust temperature reduction leads to a reduced Infrared signature of the turboshaft driven aircraft in particular of helicopters.",
