An industrial truck (1) comprising a driver's platform (20), wherein the truck can be operated by a driver from the platform (20) or from a position on the ground, further comprising a foot guard (31) for protecting the feet of the truck driver from being overrun or pinched by the truck, characterized in that, the foot guard (31) is movable between a first raised position and a second lowered position in which the foot guard protects the feet of the truck driver.
