A motorcycle tire for running on rough terrain comprises a tread portion provided with shoulder blocks (Bs) each provided with a ground contacting surface (12s) whose profile (Ps) (contour) is a curved line having a radius of curvature (Rs) not less than 200 mm or a straight line in a tire meridian section including the centroid of the ground contacting surface (12s).
