Electrically Driven Haulage Vehicle
DRIVE
March 19, 2026
An electrically driven haulage vehicle travels by a driving force of an electrically driven motor driven by being supplied with electric power from a generator driven by an engine. A controller that controls the electrically driven motor includes an engine speed determining section that determines whether an engine speed as a sensed value of an engine speed sensor is equal to or higher than an engine speed threshold value when a vehicle start instruction is input, an elapsed time determining section that determines whether a first elapsed time measured from a time point at which it is determined that the sensed value is equal to or higher than the engine speed threshold value has reached a time threshold value, and a start determining section that determines whether a vehicle speed as a sensed value of a speed sensor is equal to or higher than a speed threshold value after it is determined that the first elapsed time has reached the time threshold value. The controller stops the electrically driven motor when it is determined that the sensed value of the speed sensor is lower than the speed threshold value.
