The negative electrode includes a negative electrode current collector and a negative electrode mixture layer formed on a surface of the negative electrode current collector. The negative electrode mixture layer contains a negative electrode active material, a first binder, and an isothiazolin-based compound. The first binder is a carboxymethylcellulose compound. The proportion of the mass of the isothiazolin-based compound in the negative electrode mixture layer to the mass of the negative electrode mixture layer is 20 ppm or more and 2000 ppm or less. With the above configuration, permeability of the nonaqueous electrolyte into the negative electrode mixture layer can be increased.",
