The default charging profile defines a first maximum amount of charging resources that the EVSE may provide to charging electric vehicle(s). The control system receiving from a central control system, via a communication connection, a charging profile that defines a second maximum amount of charging resources that the EVSE may provide to charging electric vehicle(s). The control system effectuates the received charging profile by causing the EVSE to provide at most the second maximum amount of charging resources to charging electric vehicle(s). The control system determining that the communication connection is broken and, based on this determination, effectuating the default charging profile causing the EVSE to provide at most the first maximum amount of charging resources to the charging electric vehicle(s).",
