The coating layer includes a compound including Li, M, and F. In the compound, the M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of metalloid elements and metal elements other than Li. An amount of F in the compound per unit surface area of the positive electrode active material is 10 mg/mor more and 280 mg/mor less.
