EXPANDABLE COMPARTMENT FOR A VEHICLE

An expandable storage compartment for use on a vehicle has an expandable frame comprising a plurality of telescoping assemblies moveable between a contracted configuration and an expanded configuration. A flexible housing extends around at least a portion of the frame to define a pair of sidewalls and a rear wall that conform to a size of the frame. A rigid top is coupled to the frame and defining a top wall, and a rigid bottom wall defining a floor is coupled to the frame. The frame moves the flexible material between the contracted configuration and the expanded configuration.
