IMPROVED PLUG-IN HYBRID PROPULSION SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED VEHICLE

The invention concerns a plug-in hybrid propulsion system having an internal combustion engine and an electric motor. The electric motor includes a battery pack having an operating range of between 100 km and 150 km and the internal combustion engine has a displacement of less than or equal to 600 cc. or a power lower than 30-50 hp. The present invention also concerns a related vehicle driven by a plug-in hybrid engine of the aforementioned type.
