A vehicle battery case includes a lower panel on which a battery can be placed, a pair of rocker constituent members joined to both side ends, in a vehicle width direction, of the lower panel and each able to absorb energy of an impact applied from the vehicle width direction, and a battery cross member provided on an upper side of the lower panel and including both ends, in the vehicle width direction, each joined to a corresponding one of the pair of rocker constituent members. Front-side end portions of the pair of rocker constituent members are detachably joined to a vehicle body front portion structure forming a front portion of a vehicle body, and rear-side rear ends of the pair of rocker constituent members are detachably joined to a vehicle body rear portion structure forming a rear portion of the vehicle body.
