A positive electrode material including a first positive electrode active material and a second positive electrode active material. The first positive electrode active material is in the form of a secondary particle in which a plurality of grains are aggregated, and includes an orientational structure in which the long axis of the grain is arranged toward the surface from the center of the secondary particle in at least a portion of the secondary particle. It also has a cobalt concentration at the grain boundary that is higher than a cobalt concentration inside the grains. The second positive electrode active material includes a center part having at least one form among a single particle composed of one nodule and a quasi-single particle composed of a composite of at most 30 nodules, and a coating layer formed on the center part and containing cobalt.
