CONTEXTUALLY ADAPTED ACCESS PRIVILEGES

Systems, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to improving vehicle access according to a present context. In one embodiment, a method includes acquiring sensor data about an environment of a vehicle. The method includes, responsive to receiving a request for accessing the vehicle, determining a context from the sensor data. The context including aspects about the environment and about a person associated with the request for access. The method includes defining access privileges for the person according to the context in relation to a threshold. The method includes providing access to the vehicle according to the access privileges.
