A control system for a movable wing assembly and a roof assembly for a road vehicle comprising: a main electronic control unit; an electronic control unit of the movable wing assembly in communication with the main electronic control unit; and an electronic control unit of the roof assembly in communication with the main electronic control unit, wherein the main electronic control unit is configured for determining the presence of a potential interference between the movable wing assembly and the roof assembly, and for switching the operating condition of the movable wing assembly or the roof assembly, thus avoiding a collision.
